Welcome to the blog of MAYE Security Foundation.
MAYE Security Foundation is an independent Non-Profit Organisation established to tackle the crime pandemic in South Africa with a transformative education’s approach aiming to achieve a zero-tolerance level for crime – all crime .
Crime challenges are enormous but not impossible to overcome.
Through an additional investment to stimulate people’s renewed confidence and participation, we can improve our current safety and security level by ensuring the people are well educated in that aspect and save our country’s broader national interest .
We have every confidence that the “missing link” in the fight against crime will soon be filled with the revived momentum in the building of a culture of safety and incentive programs to eradicate crime through crime prevention education in line with the 1996 National Crime Prevention Strategy (NCPS)’s four” pillars”: Improving criminal justice functioning, Environmental design, Community values and education, and Transnational crime.
This blog also provides a platform for :
• Cross-sector collaboration for the betterment of all involved through crime prevention inventive programmes,
• Sharing of resources(materials and knowledge or informations),
• Increase the administrative efficiency in safety and security community outreach programmes and community transformation that establish an ongoing relationship and further the mission of all involved parties through aligning and integrating
I hope that our blog will be of some use to you. Please continue to send us your news and share any value-add features you would like us to incorporate into our endeavour.
